Over 20 years ago MISTER LYNCH was intrigued by native culture, and decided to experience what the Pow Wow had to offer. A consument photographer, LYNCH couldnt resist photograph his experience in the best way he knew how. He was granted access by the Grand Chief of the Pow Wow to set up his specialized portrait studio and create his first portraits. He has continued to add to this series over the years and recently was granted special permission to photograph participents of the first Lenape Pow Wow on the island of Manhattan in over 300 years. The Lenape were the orginal settlers of Manhattan
